Looking for lunch at the English Bay, Vancouver and were recommended to visit The Boathouse. As my husband is disabled we were seated at a table close to the bar (Ground floor). Most of the other guests were seated on the Upper floor. Therefore, we...More

1 star is generous. The decor of this place needs to be seen to be believed. Why paint a beautiful beachfront restaurant dark red? What were they thinking? To say the place needs TLC is an understatement, this restaurant reeks of under investment: great location,...More

My friends and I went for a meal to try out Vancouver's seafood and was reccomended here. The place was quaint, decent scenery, spacious, the waitresses were friendly and helpful but nothing exceptional. I opted for the surf and turf but instead of a steak...More

We have not been to Vancouver in a few years. The boathouse deck/patio is one of the places we visit every visit. This year we went early on Saturday, the August long weekend at 2:00 PM. We wanted on the patio but were told there...More

Lovely restaurant for a date night. Over looks the beach and if you time it right you can watch the sunset. Staff were friendly and efficient. Seafood dishes were very good. Non-seafood dishes were average. Not a great selection of beers on tap. But a...More

Our family went to the Boathouse for my mom's 87th birthday. It was a wonderful dining event. Our waiter gave us exceptional service, put our order in before a large group. The food was fantastic. Would recommend this place for any special event.

Nice view out on the sea. The service is good and the food is fine. The maple salmon was really nice, the tuna was ok.

Eating at Landry's restaurants in the states is always a treat, so we wanted to try this Canadian version. Fresh daily caught fish, hot sour dough bread boule, enormous salads, and liberal libations await the hungry traveler. My wife had the maple cedar plank fresh...More

West End
A hodgepodge of landscapes, the West End combines
verdant gardens and blocky modern architecture, with
Victorian bits and Edwardian bobs in between. It is a
paradise for takeout food, take-away coffee, and
perhaps incongruously, some of Vancouver's most
languid lines of beachfront. English Bay and Sunset
Beach invite swimmers, strollers, and picnic-lovers to
take in dusk settling over the water, or to jog along

There is none. Street and regular parking around. However, they have valet which is extremely reasonable especially considering how much you would pay for regular parking.

Sorry, I don't recall if they had gluten free but as others have said, you should be able to find their menu on line.
