This always had been (and still is) my ‘go to’ favourite dim sum place to take out of town guests and friends. They have really stepped it up since Covid and are top notch when making sure customers stay safe. They check for ID &...proof of vaccine. In addition, there’s a thermometer to check your hand’s temperature. Not sure how that works. There are many pros to this place: - Good quality and fresh food (the 4 of us pigged out on 16 dim sum dishes!). Group favourite was the crab claws and eggplant. - Tables are socially distanced from other tables - Good ambiance - Service is prompt - Complimentary parking is located downstairs with elevators taking you directly upstairs - Reservations are available Note: the corn on the cob photo is actually mango dessert! Delish! Definitely come here if you enjoy dim sum and/or want a great experience. You will be impressed!More

Sun Sui Wah here in Vancouver and also in Richmond is a mainstay of Dim Sum in Vancouver. Really haven’t had a bad dish here - selections during this particular visit included steamed prawn dumplings, shiu mai, sticky rice, bbq pork buns, pea tips and...rice noodle with beef. Service was just ok. Good covid protocols.More

First wedding in over 2 years and we had a FEAST at Sun Sui Wah! The 10 course meal in FULL effect and it was just as good as I remember it. We started off with the Roasted Pig cold cut platter. The jellyfish was...great and the highlight was the “Cheeto ebi” prawn. Super good! Next up is everyone’s favourite… Deep fried crab claws! It was pipin’ hot and the shrimp was so succulent! The bird’s nest soup with fish maw was perfect when you add that rice vinegar! My favourite is always the sautéed fresh lobster with cilantro and green onions. So so good! Next up is their squab (tastes like duck to me) and it’s one of their specialties! What course am I on? I was feeling pretty full already but the food kept coming. Next up is their abalone with Chinese mushrooms over top of sautéed pea sprouts. This is one of my favourite vegetables and it was cooked to perfection. Their freshly steamed fish with cilantro and soy was flaky and delicate. The last 2 dishes came with the honeymoon fried rice and their e-fu noodles. I ALWAYS have room for these 2 dishes! Wait… there’s still more! Their lotus seed wrapped in a flaky crust and their coconut cookies was a nice way to end the meal…. Although I also had their wedding cake too. I’ll be back here again in a few weeks for another wedding…. YES!!!More

I read somewhere that one should check the state of the washrooms as an Indication of the state of the kitchen. There were no towels and no fan to dry your hands. The floors were Slippery and Slimy wet. There were patches of water or.....surrounding the urinals. You think it would be a no-brainer to have a spotless washroom for patrons. Either they don't get it or they do not care. I think I ordered my last meal there even though I supported them for over 15 years. Enjoy your meal. Staff also not the most friendly.More

This is my go to place for Dim Sum! I love it here. The food is fresh and it’s tasty. Just about the same as you would get in Hong Kong. They now have 20 percent off with for Dim Sum to attract customers during...this virus issue. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either dim sum or dinner!More

The Alaska King Crab is very fresh, delicious but expensive. There are many kinds of tasty food to choose, such as : seafood, meats and vegetables. Worthy to come !

It is always busy but so big that it is never tough to get a table or not a long wait. The food is fantastic. Has all the usual dim sum choices and then some. I quite often come with a vegan friend who has...no problem finding enough food. The shrimp dumplings are so good. Service is probably a little bit better than a lot of places that are compareable. Would recommend it.More

Service worst than bad. The restaurant was recommended by our tourist guide. I will not go there again.
