If you like ramen, this is definitely the place for you. They do it up right! And it's always busy, so you know that's a good sign. They give you a very good-sized portion of ramen as well.

If your first image of ramen, is the "Maruchan Instant ramen", then do yourself a favor and become a better human being by coming to this place. A true ramen connoisseur should pay attention to: - Ramen (the noodle) texture, elasticity, "crunchiness" - Soup stock: Rich (thick), medium, light - Quality of ingredients - Specialty of the house - Drinks... We made an order in person at the restaurant. Fast, very attentive with us while we were waiting and a good organization in our order to take it away. I gave them 5 stars for the attention, organization and the ramen. I am not Japanese, so I can not judge the ramen if it is good or not there. For... More

Don't be scared by the long line up as the wait is totally with it! This tiny hole in the wall ramen joint offers amazing tasty authentic ramen complete with hand made noodles! Sit at the bar to watch the show as the cooks whip up each order right in front of you. Highly recommended!

If you see a big line, find something else to eat. It takes a lot of time to get in. Luckily we got in right away. The place have some interesting Ramen however not that amazing for a big line up. I wanted something warm and this hit the spot. I like that they ask you how thick and how... More

When we got there, we had to wait outside though there were seats available. There were 4 of us and one parking the car. Waitress wont let us in to order first. She let another 2 couples in who came later. When our driver got there we were let in and sat squashed in a small round table shared with... More

We ended up at Kintaro when the other ramen place we wanted was closed. We were happy with the portion. Very filling.... I did not finish the whole bowl. Recommended!

Nice ramen, great soup base favor. Expect to be in a line up when you go there. It's nice that they have an open kitchen bar so you can see how your noodle is made, downside is, it can be quite hot sitting at the bar in the summer time. I imagine it would be nice in the winter time.... More

The broth and noodles are fantastic at Kintaro Ramen. Staff are friendly and more attentive compared to other local ramen joints. There's not a lot of seating, and there are usually lineups at lunch and dinner time. I'd recommend and would repeat.

The ramen is really good. They hand-pull the noodles and everything is prepared in front of you. The space is limited so you may need to wait in line and the menu options are limited too. Nothing fancy like in some of the Ramen restaurants in little Tokyo in Los Angeles, just simple, traditional, authentic, and delicious ramen bowls
