Excellent for cakes, and other decadent deserts to take out or eat in, nice ambiance in the cafe, with lattes tea etc, and nice yogurt and granola parfaits to eat in or out for breakfast.

Great place to go for coffee and cake. Their ckaes and pastries are the best in the city. Also they have soups, sandwiches and quiche for a quick bite.

Most of the cakes there are way tooo sweet. For the New York cheesecake, it is not firm enough. The cream cheese flavour is not strong enough. The place is kind of small.

Lovely selection of cakes, tarts, and pasties accompanied by excellent teas. Started over twenty years ago and still going strong. Helpful staff. Thumbs up!

A very busy place to enjoy quality treats a coffee or tea. They are famous for their cheesecakes but they do serve lunches as well.

Bought a 6 inch lemon/ginger cheesecake for my daughter's birthday. The staff quickly added birthday greetings to the cake for me. The cake was enjoyed by all of us. Nice and creamy with good texture, beautiful rich taste. The lady at the store said it didn't need a topping and she was right. Lovely cheesecake!! They make a mean cinnamon... More

Presentation of the desserts seems to be inviting at first glance. We picked up a whole tiramisu cake to celebrate a birthday and it looked okay with lots of chocolate shavings on top. But from my experience, there can be a lot of variation in taste between tiramisus. We hoped it would be one of the good ones since this... More

I came here for the first time in a while last Sunday night. It is a very small place with seating for maybe 20 people. 4 tables were occupied, so it seems to do a pretty good business, and more people walked in and got take out as were eating. They have sandwiches and coffee here, but I came specifically... More

Staying in Kitsilano

Neighbourhood Profile
Kitsilano is one of Vancouver's most transformative neighbourhoods. With a long history of coffee culture and poetry readings, its days of flower children and buskers may be long-gone, but not without leaving their mark on the number of organic restaurants and fair-trade cafes in the area. At the centre of Kitsilano ("Kits" for short) the almost idyllic expanse of Kits Beach offers the opportunity for a relaxed afternoon of beach volleyball or sunbathing. Along with the beachfront, nearby public pools and trendy street-beats have driven up the homeowners prices, making it a haven for stylish home goods stores, from design and furniture, to supplies and appliances. The multitude of both families and public spaces also make it a happening neighbourhood in the summer, when festivals and fairs take to Kits' streets.
