We ordered the 3 course meal. Having the meatballs & a salad to start, then the chef's choice meat plate & Canadian plate for mains. Both courses & combos on the plates were excellent. Having ordered the different plates for the mains we were able...More

I was doing a girls' weekend in Vancouver and this was absolutely a highlight of the trip. I called to make a reservation and the manager had seats ready to go for us and was happy to explain anything and everything on the menu. I'm...More

Seriously the most dishonest "restaurant" I have ever been to. The charcuterie was nothing more than a few slices of whatever you can obtain from your local grocer. You can go to any corner store in Italy and find superior everything. Yes this is just...More

Want a cozy place to try different wines and charcuterie on a date? Want to make a long day/night of drinking/eating your way around Gastown? This is your place. It's a nice stop, nothing too fancy or too filling. I thought that staff had a...More

I went here in May 2017 with a group of 10 and the service and food was top notch. The only down side was they served half our group first and then waited almost a half hour to serve the other half. Our server said...More

My husband found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and extremely thankful we did! We can honestly say that this restaurant and experience was one of our favorites out of our whole trip. Every single person in there was super friendly and helpful and not to...More

Great little place, look for the upside down salt shaker as it's located in an alley so not easy to spot. Great premise, enjoyable meal. The menu is hard to navigate as only on wall in chalk with no explanations of what types of meat...More

The tasting menu was great and the wine selection was good too. The location was a bit sketchy to be honest - I wouldn't have been keen to try to find it in the dark.

7 years ago the restaurant started it was certainly good, but today the opposite - maybe the owner has changed. The wines cheap and quality bad and the sausage and cheese specialties - at home in the fridge most of the guests probably have a...More

A fantastic tasting room in a side alley of downtown Vancouver that servers cheeses, cured meats & housemade condiments with regional wine pairings. Such a great choice of options and totally delicious choices. I loved building my own cheese, meat and condiment platter and the...More

A visit to Gastown is like turning back the clock and
stepping into a bygone era. With the distinction of
being Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, the many
plaques that stud the cobbled streets of Gastown tell
the story of its colorful past, giving Vancouver's
history a more lively presence here than anywhere
else. Having been originally founded around a popular
worker's saloon, it's no wonder that today some of

I am not sure what wineries have tasting rooms in Vancouver, if any. Many restaurants in Vancouver do carry BC wines though and they offer many by the glass so you can try them before committing.
