A table with a view, a crisp slightly rainy day, nice glass of wine, amazing fresh salad and some steamed clams....doesn't get much better than that. Was just right after a day of exploring and snacking through downtown....just right, light, but filling.

I've been coming here for 27 years and it's only getting better!!! Best craft brewery and pub in Victoria. Stay downtown and water taxi over!

We went here on the advice of a local and were well rewarded. We had a lovely view over the harbour and enjoyed a light tasty lunch with the option of tasting the local craft brew in a rare to find small quantity: 5oz, 10oz or more. A helpful menu helped to discover the favourite 'brew'. An added bonus was... More

We went to spinnakers during dine around and were disappointed. We sat downstairs and the combination of stone table tops and big windows (in March) was cold! I did not enjoy either of the appetizers - bruschetta trio and pork terrine. I had the duck confit which was delicious but the sides were cold and undercooked. My partner had the... More

We loved the beer, the locally-sourced food, the homemade malt vinegar, the atmosphere, the view. Great place for a casual meal.

I went for dinner at Spinnakers with a visitor from Winnipeg. We opted for the pub upstairs, rather than the downstairs restaurant. It was a dark, rainy evening, so we weren't able to enjoy the nice view of the inner harbour. However, the food, beer and service made up for it. I had fish (salmon) and chips, while my friend... We went for a casual lunch and we're not impressed. The area wwa crowded with construction going on outside and the overwhelming smell of "stain". Only 2 servers who did there best to keep up. I ordered the brew pub burger..tasted good but took 2 bites before I tasted any beef..The fries were a mound of small crunchy pieces. Wanting... More

We went as a party of four on a Sunday night and it was still packed! The food was very good (pizza!), and the beer and ciders were delicious. Some vegan options as well, which are vegan friend liked.

We checked into the guest house, and my sweetie just loved the quaint quirkiness of the room. The bathroom is spacious, the room gives you an atmosphere of 19th century decor with 21st century amenities. Later we went for dinner at the brewhouse restaurant. Reservations got us a window seat, with a good view of the harbour lights. Our table... More

Sandy & I stopped by here today to check out their fish & chips. The batter was light and the tartar sauce was delicious. The water glasses are cool.
