We stopped in for the New Years day buffet. Staff was awesome and the food was excellent! Loads of waffles, pancakes, bacon, eggs, fried potatoes and toast. I loved their special eggnog syrup....Delicious!

We were there Dec. 26, when there were some after Christmas parties going on, which might be why it was so noisy. You could hardly talk at all. But the service was good and the food excellent. Prices good also, would recommend.

They have nightly entertainment with no cover charge! Angela Herh will win you over with her singing talents and variety of songs, The Nachos are definitely enough for 3 people, and the pizza is tasty too!

Good music and good food. Crab soup is delicious! Crowded though on weekend evenings. We were glad we came back for a second time in one four day trip because afternoon meant less crowds and we really enjoying the violinist and chello.

Besides the nice decor and good music as a local I do not really enjoy this pub. It's always too loud as its jam packed and seating is tight. Plus they are so busy the servers never seem to get to you on time and...More

Welcome to the Irish Times Pub, where excellent design and authenticity are at the heart of downtown Victoria's BEST IRISH PUB! Located at 1200 Government Street, the Irish Times Pub is home to 190 seats over two floors with 80 seats available on our patios, opening onto both Government Street and historic Bastion Square. Our concept goes far beyond mere architecture though. The Irish Times opened with everything it takes to make a pub successfully Irish, including authentic Live Irish music, 7 nights a week. The tradition of Ireland has also been extended to our menu, which has been developed on a philosophy of creating traditional Irish food and drink that is both contemporary and funky, showcasing Irish Pub Food as you would see in Ireland today.
