We had our last breakfast of the trip to Victoria at this restaurant and we loved it! It is a beautiful building, with low lighting giving a romantic atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and serving and the food is delicious! We really liked the whole experience!

We were in Victoria for a weekend and tried this place as soon as got in, for lunch. We like it so much we came back the next day, mid afternoon, for a few pints. The outside and inside are incredible - really amazing feel, like an authentic irish pub. The food was great, a little on the high side,... More

We stopped here for a rest from our site seeing , a cold beer for my husband and a cider for myself. We were able to sit outside in the sunshine which is a bonus with all the rain that Victoria has been having. Had a look at the menu and plan on stopping here for lunch next time around

Good pub and great atmosphere- however servers wearing Scottish tartan kilts! How does that work. Staff very pleasant and prices at a par with elsewhere. Pleasant visit.

Great beer. Many on tap. And Murphys from Cork Ireland on tap! In many ways as good if not preferred to Guinness also available on tap. The is a grand selection of Irish and traditional pub food. The Shepherds pie I had was tasty and moreish. It is micowaved which can tend to overheat food but this is a pub... More

We booked an Irish wake at the Irish Times for my departed father. Food and music were great, staff were excellent. Special thanks to manager Chloe for making everything easy at a difficult time.

We dropped in for a drink and then stayed on for a meal. The pub is large but it was not crowded or loud when we were there. Perhaps it gets more lively as the evening goes on and the live music starts. We enjoyed our drinks and meals. The service was very good.

Soccer tournament weekend. I called Irish Times pub on Friday, April 7 to ask if they allow children.. She said yes. I asked if we needed a reservation for our soccer team (approximately 20 people). She said yes, but we can call about 3 hours ahead to make a reservation. I called on the Saturday afternoon to book 20 -... More

Description
Welcome to the Irish Times Pub, where excellent design and authenticity are at the heart of downtown Victoria"s most exciting new pub!

Located at 1200 Government Street, the Irish Times Pub is home to 190 seats over two floors with 80 seats available on our patios, opening onto both Government Street and historic Bastion Square.

Our concept goes far beyond mere architecture though. The Irish Times opened with everything it takes to make a pub successfully Irish, including authentic Live Irish music, 7 nights a week.

The tradition of Ireland has also been extended to our menu, which has been developed on a philosophy of creating traditional Irish food and drink that is both contemporary and funky, showcasing Irish Pub Food as you would see in Ireland today.
