I dined there on a Tuesday evening, must have been a slow night the dining room was empty. We decided to eat in the bar instead. The staff had no issue giving us the dining room menu in the bar. Ordered drinks and they just kept coming, perfect! The steaks and sides came out quickly and hot. Perfect! All around... More

We were staying at the four seasons and the restaurant had a nice promotion for surf and turf. Appetizer was tuna salad with endive. Not too special. Filet was small in size and a bit dry. Food overall was average and a little disappointing for price and location. Service was amazing though

Our expectations were high after all the reviews and recommendations we had read about the famous sidecut. The disappointment was big when we received the steaks. Both ordered medium rare, one was cooked medium, the other one well done. Being hungry after a day outside, we accepted the «medium» one and gave the «well done» back. Next try to get... More

The service was exceptional. I had the Montreal brisket and it was better than what I've had IN Montreal. The hotel also has amazing coffee. Can't wait to come back.

The food was exceptional and the service is even better! We heard the buffet is wonderful, but because it was the slow part of the year, the menu was offered. We loved the omelet and the eggs benedict!

The food was exceptional! The service was very good. Most exciting was the FRESHNESS of the herbs, greens etc... We were so full we couldn't eat dessert there in the restaurant. No fear! They offered to deliver it to our room or we could take it with us in an extraordinary "gift" bag!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and the service from our Irish waiter. Everything was speedy, comfortable and varied. I wish these luxury hotels would serve a slightly larger than 5 ounce wine serving, but otherwise it was excellent.

We ate here twice while in Whistler. obvious our first experience was good or their would not have been a second. Not overly fancy, nor overly priced. If we ever go back to Whistler we would go back to sidecut.

Nice presentation, but only two medallions of lamb constituted an entree and the wine was 5x market value. Disappointed.

Great steak house. Quiet, romantic, and perfectly cooked steak, what else can you ask for? Bar open later for that last stop before you go to your room....

Named for the curvature on the side of a ski or snowboard, Sidecut offers a modern take on traditional mountain cuisine. Situated in the celebrated alpine location of Whistler, the restaurant's sleek wood interior offers an inviting setting where diners can cozy up to the open fireplace or dine on our sun soaked patio. Enjoy dishes such as the Steakhouse "Sushi" Roll, Bourbon Birch Braised Belly of Pork, or prime-aged steakhouse cuts, cooked to perfection and inimitably paired with house-made rubs and signature sauces. Featuring a locally-sourced menu that evolves seasonally, the restaurant's farm- and ocean-to-table influence pays homage to British Columbia's diverse fare. To complement any meal, the extensive wine list features international labels as well as an exclusive selection of B.C.'S premier vintages. Here, steak is more than a meal. It's an experience.
