Located within the Fairmont Chateau hotel the Mallard Lounge is surprisingly good value, especially when you consider the portions are so big you can happily share a main and a starter! The food is excellent, really good selection and often a musician is playing. Very good atmosphere and a great place to go for apres drinks as you get nibbles... More

On the first night at Fairmont, we ate at Mallord. The next day (Friday), my three year old asked for "pasta and french fries" again from Mallard. However, when we got there it was completely packed. Literally standing room only. We asked one of the servers if it would be possible to order food to go for our 3 year... More

We ate lunch at the Mallard Lounge and Terrace. Nice relaxed atmosphere and great food and great service. We ordered a burger off the kids menu for our son and it came with a lot of fries. The burger was very good. My husband and I ate the tomato soup with grilled ricotta cheese and spinach. The soup was great... More

The Mallard is great fun. It's always packed and is a great place tobhang out and have a drink, snack or dinner. They often have live music too.

This a nice spot for having drinks, enjoying live music and also enjoy the view. You can also seat outside when it is not raining or snowing and with the heaters and a hot drink you are ready to enjoy the afternoon.

Each time I go to whistler I have to eat, relax and enjoy the live music in the Mallard lounge. This is the best après ski in the comfort of your hotel!!

We came here every night of our trip for drinks and ate dinner here twice. Their dinner menu has some of the same items as the Wildflower. Lamb stew is great and so is the meat and cheese appetizer. The staff is very friendly and made us feel at home.

My husband and I ate here after we had both flown from different countries and lots of running around organising skis and lift tickets. I was too tired to leave the hotel and we decided to plonk ourselves here. Firstly, the area is lovely and very relaxing with an outside view of the snow and a warm fire going. I... More

We enjoy going for a drink at the lounge at the end of the night and sitting by the fire. The drinks are a bit pricey but excellent quality. The service is always good and it is really nice getting one of the comfy chairs near the fireplaces. A great place to have a night cap and some casual chatting.

We have been coming to whistler for the past 17 years. We love the town and the skiing. The Chateau/Fairmont is a beautiful hotel. At some point during the week we like to drop by the Mallard lounge. The vibe is always lively and the evenings with music even better. However, when we sit at the bar we are treated... More
