This restaurant lived up to its reputation. The dining area is up on the second floor so you don't see everyone coming and going. It's a very cozy and intimate environment. Our server was clearly a veteran and our service ran seamlessly. She had extensive knowledge of the BC wines and every food item on the menu. The rim rock... More

Upscale restaurant serving fabulous food. Seafood antipasto, blue cheese salad, lamb shank, arctic char, sable fish and venison were all excellently prepared and so delicious. Worth driving here for dinner, in a large interesting dining room. Service was good, but not overly attentive. One of the top must dine restaurants in Whistler.

My wife and I dined here during December on our first night in Whistler to celebrate her birthday. It was the perfect way to start our holiday as the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I only wish I could remember the waitresses name to give her a special mention as she really made our night. Her knowledge... More

There is good assortment of choices for all. The rock cod was prepared well (best I hv had out side of a Japanese restaurant) and served on top of mushroom risotto that was perfectly cooked and had a hint of truffle. And the price is reasonable for the quality of food offered (especially compared with many in the village and... More

If you enjoy fine dining with a casual setting , you will love this place especially if you like seafood. The entree size is generous and the wine list extensive. We tried : Iceberg lettuce which did not disappoint. Seafood antipasto with 6 sampling and sauces. Ahi Tataki &Tuna Poke - ginger and sesame favor was nicely blend. Perfectly cooked... More

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
