It was my first time to visit this well known restaurant. I truly enjoyed every bite. I started with the mussels, had the duck for main course and the sorbet for dessert. I am not likely to visit again but I will remember this restaurant whenever I think of Whistler or BC.

My fifth time here. Oyster selection without par in Whistler. Menu is creative without being too fussy, the seafood we ordered was really fresh and prepared so that the remainder of the plate only complimented the entree. Service was attentive and friendly. Will be back next year as always.

Simple, if you want a great meal with great service go to the Rim Rock. Last visited 11 years ago. Today was just as good. End

Make a reservation well in advance. Great menu. We had steamed mussels for an appetizer, one entree and Elk filet on a bed of gnocchii with fig puree, another entree of sablefish served on a bed of porcini mushroom risotto with a dusting of truffles. Everything was excellent. Our server, Kelly, was really friendly and knew the menu so well.... More

This was cute. It reminded me of what fine dining was like 25 years ago. I'm not sure I would go back. Plenty of other more interesting restaurants in Whistler.

Ate with two friends on a recent ski trip. Some of the best seafood I have ever had done delicately but with flair while still having good portion sizes. The service was attentive but relaxed as was the whole atmosphere of the place while still maintaining an excellent buzz. Looked to have a great wine list too.

As a vegetarian going to a seafood and game restaurant, I reckon they did very well! There was little on the menu for me, but the risotto they made (normally the bed for some game or seafood) was delicious with grilled vegetables added. Everyone else was enjoying their oysters, tuna, lamb and salmon.

Rim Rock is a short cab ride from Whistler Village just before Creekside. It's like having dinner in someone's large, homey cabin in the woods. The menu is varied but probably more seafood (great oysters) than anything else. Try the seafood medley and the dessert tasting plate is a great way to try a bit of most of the delicious... More

A cab ride from Whistler Village, the Rim Rock serves a varied menu of local produce and catch. We enjoyed an evening of freshly prepared meals as a group of 10. Staff were attentive and service was good.

Had the asparagus risotto which was fine. It could have done with a little more seasoning but was very nice. Also had the venison which was very good if a little tougher than I expected. Overall a 4 not a 5.

Description
In its 23rd year, the Rimrock Café has delighted diners with its innovative, fresh cuisine and emphasis on the finest fish and game, artfully prepared with inventiveness and flair. The restaurant is consistently recognized as a local’s favorite for atmosphere, service and a sublime eating experience. Behind the large glass window of our lit cellar, all manner of wines from the glamorous and recognizable to the intriguing and new seem to hum seductively. Two fireplaces cast an ambient glow over the chatter and energy of our rustic dining room. In summer, enjoy your meal on a sunny patio. The seafood antipasto for two is the perfect start to your meal. Stunning presentation meets succulent, vibrant flavor among the six exquisite tasters. Try our Venison tenderloin, served with a porcini cream and homemade spatzle. For the seafood lover, our main course Trio is a harmony of seared Ahi, nut crusted Sablefish and grilled prawns. Complete your meal with Whistler's favorite desert.
