My sister and I have discovered this fantastic Inn a few years ago, and we stop in frequently for lunch. The menu is not very elaborate, but that is fine. They have excellent choices and the food is simply outstanding. We've tried their soups, sandwiches,...More

This hundred year old restaurant is in an awkward phase right now. The building is lovely, and the menu is pretty good if absolutely boring, staid, and static, but the service is slower than slow.

The food was outstanding - fresh vegetables from the garden. Beautifully and creatively cooked entrees and wonderful desserts. Wine choices are a bit lacking and the service can be inconsistent - but the final product (meal) was spectacular.

This is a unique dining experience. The atmosphere, food and service are fantastic. The dining room is elegantly furnished with fine china and wood panels. The food was incredible, even the desserts were unique and very tasty. I can't wait for my visit.

Recently had the pleasure of lunch at this grand Inn. The surroundings are from a past elegant era, the table settings quite civilized. However, it is a place where, although many Royals and other famous persons have walked these halls, you are not intimidated .....More

The Marshlands Inn is a very old mansion with an interesting history. I found a document dating from the 1800's in which King George lll granted permission to a long list of people to drain the area's marshes and swamps. It is beautifully and tastefully...More
