The hamburgers were excellent, you can taste the difference with fresh ground. Simple ingredients and nicely cooked. The smoked meat sandwich was huge, thinly sliced coned beef with nice flavour. Good service, fun environment and reasonable pricing. We tried the doughnuts and milkshakes too, which...More

Retro atmosphere. Good food. Good prices. Cheerful staff. Turkey soup really tastes home made. Smoked meat sandwich was tasty.

Mel's has been 'the spot' to eat & hang out since the late 50's for me. It hasn't changed much over the years; the food is great, service is good ,& staff always smiling & friendly. I guess the biggest change I have seen is...More

What a great surprise! A long counter with stools. Booths, a jukebox. Like going back to the 50's. It is in a wonderful few block area iN downtown Sackville with other interesting shops and places to visit.

Our group had breakfast at this diner last weekend. The place is full of nostalgic art and decor. We had a great meal; coffee, eggs, toast etc. Fairly standard options, but it was all served hot, fresh, and delicious. Our server was very attentive and...More
