I try to get here at least one a year. The building is beautiful and old. The food is authentic Thai and delicious. The whole menu is good; but the dragon eggplant is unique. The Swiss Eugenia cake is eclectic and a perfect way to finish the meal.

Food was fantastic. Great place for sharing dishes. Green Thai curry with shrimp is my wife's favourite. Plenty to eat and some for take home after everyone was full.

Started the meal off with an Erdinger Dunkell beer. Appetizer was Lemongrass Soup with Shrimp in a broth that had a tangy mix of herbs and spice, delicious! Daughter and I shared three mains, Matsaman Curry chicken breast in a sweet potato peanutty chunky rich broth that had ground shrimp and chillies. Next was Ginger Chicken with lots of fresh... More

Some family and friends enjoyed a delicious meal of Thai food at Suwanna Restaurant. We had a good variety of dishes and they were all very tasty and made with fresh ingredients. The waiter was very friendly but we would have appreciated it if he would have been a little less "chatty " and let us have time to talk... More

I have eaten in Thai restaurants throughout Canada and the United States, and I am comparing the food at this restaurant against those. I have eaten here several times and have tried a variety of dishes. They were nicely prepared and tasty, but were nothing out of the ordinary. Still, I recommend this as one of the best places to... We were traveling with a group and our Innkeeper (and fellow traveler) recommended Suwanna. We don't eat Thai food very often but this is among the best I've had. Our waiter was very attentive and managed to keep track of who ordered which meal - not easy when you are a party of 18!

Meal was tasty and portion was good except I ordered Spicy Pork and got a plate full of onions and peppers with a pile of white rice and not enough pork in there to even be able to distinguish it form the veggies. The appetizer was awesome in taste as well, it was the Satay Chicken, however I would be... More

Great view by reversing falls. Went with my parents and the portion sizes were huge. Each dish had a different, unique taste. The green and red Thai curries were fantastic. Will definitely be back again.

We have been going here for over a decade- the food is some of the best in NB- for starters the soups and Popia and for mains - the Green Curry with beef and the Massaman curry are super dishes. Also have to save room for the Eugenie. One drawback is the wine list- one suggestion would be a pile... More

I love Suwanna and it's easily my favourite restaurant in NB. We travel from Fredericton a couple times each year just to go. We order: massaman curry, red curry, dragon eggplant, cashew chicken, and pad Thai often. Other curries and dishes are great. This is a great place to go with a group, order a bunch of dishes, and share.... More
