Rather obscure location, but glad we stumbled upon it. Smaller restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and courteous. Service was excellent. Larger than expected menu. Many of the items appealed to me, so I am sure we will be going back. Same owners for over twenty years. All dishes are made consistently.Home cooked style. Prices very reasonable. Our experience there... More

In the land of free refills and bottomless coffee, The Coffee Mill is a bit of an odd duck. The wait staff was competent but nothing special. The food was good, the lack of a kids menu kinds of means that a more expensive option must be purchased.

We used to visit the Coffee Mill in Fredericton (35+ years ago) when we were courting. lovely to see this location in Saint John. A very pleasant, simple afternoon lunch. Good attention and good food. Great price - no complaints.

We were in the area visiting and needed to go to the bank. Was looking for a place to grab a bite and a couple suggested this place. Food was served in a fairly quick manner, food was acceptable.

Busy with local residents & it's been here 25 years. Food & service was good & reasonably priced. Recommended at our hotel & clerk was correct.

My husband and I both had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and peas. It was very good. The waitress appeared to be new at the job. She wasn't sure if the seafood they served was fresh or frozen. This is why we ordered the roast beef sandwich.

And slow service because of that. We ordered then waited 35 minutes before the meal arrived. Our waitress was working the cash also so we had to wait until she got a break from that. But if you go outside mealtimes (early bird) then service is good. The food is very good and breakfast is available all day.

My husband and I were at the Coffee Mill in Saint John on Monday and left a tip on the table after we ate. When I paid the bill, the cashier cheated me of $2.00. I will never go back there again.

We had just arrived in Saint John at our B&B and were looking for somewhere to eat close by. This hit the mark. Located in the mall, you could even order beer or wine. They had a meatloaf special as well as sandwiches and other quick foods. It was quick, easy and good ordinary food.
