This is a old gem of a course. I believe its over 100 years old, so it can be short for longer hitters. The natural hilly landscape makes for uneven lies, so approach shots can be tricky. Greens are always in good shape and usually soft. The food on course is good with fresh sandwiches and bqq. You must try... More

The course design is compact which means the fairways are close together and have hidden approaches. Can be dangerous, especially during fundraising tournaments when the course has many novice players. Seen people get hit with stray balls. The food is good and hear it's gotten better recently. With the short golf season here in St. John's you need something else... More

A group of us reserved a table here for lunch last week. The lunch menu had a good variety of items, although most of us ordered the fish and chips! The fish was very lightly battered and crispy. The fries were home made and tasty. Best of all was the service which was prompt and attentive. Servers made sure to... More

I attended my husbands Christmas Social with his work Colleagues at this lovely Golf Club this year. This was a very quaint, small gathering place for small socials. The building was very clean, the atmosphere was very nice and comfortable, the staff were very pleasant, the food was excellent !

The quality of food was excellent and the service was top notch. The atmosphere was elegant and the views were very relaxing and enjoyable. The price of the food was a bit high, however the quality of the food made up for it.

Lovely old course, come for the golf, don't come for the food in the winter trip advisor wants more characters but you don't need to know anything else. Come for the golf!

Just had the opportunity to have lunch last wednesday with my tennis crew. We all had fish and chips which I must say was excellent. The fresh cod had a lovely light batter and was golden brown in colour. The chips were fresh and hot. Just perfect. The service was great and so was the view on this cold winter's... More

Loved the view, coffee and fish! The chips were dried up and the service was slow but in all fairness there were a lot of customers that day. The coffee refills were free and the price was only $1.15, which I loved. Hate paying for refills! The fish was fresh and golden brown and only $12.50 for two pieces. The tartar... More

I have been here several times, for lunch, or as part of a golf tournament, or as a wedding guest. The food and service are all very good. Try the fish and chips, you'll love it! :)

So, I should say that we (6 + baby) went there for Sunday brunch at noon and it was only the 2 or 3 week it has been opened. Overall it was ok, but they have a lot of kinks to work out. The Restaurant: The building is old and dated, however the inside was clean. (I hear they might... More
