The best fish & chips recommended by tourguides at Yellowknife, we made a reservation the day before to get a table for 10. We needed to wait outside until our reservation time to get seated (at -12C). All the walls and even the ceiling were filled with notes and signages by diners who ate here before. The dinner bun became... More

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Make a reservation, there were a lot of people trying to get a table the saturday night we were there. Jessie is wonderful, she keeps it fun and personal and somehow makes it everything work beautifully. This place is a great value.

Their menu is a little on the pricier side, but their food is delicious. They offer multiple types of local fish (pickerel is my favourite), as well as wild meat like Muskox and Bison. Your entree comes with a green salad and chips, and they have homemade dressings that are amazing. Make sure you go earlier so that you can... More

North star adventure tour guide Chris recommended us to ordering the buffalo steak. My mum and I got the Surf n Turf - which was a combination of steak and your choice of fish. The portion was huge and hence we shared it. However, it was still a very filling and satisfying meal for us. Service was good as well,... More

The place is quite tiny, so make reservations as we did, to avoid waiting too long. The fish selection and quality was superb. They had run out of most of their wild game choices, so other than the wonderful stew, we can only imagine their taste. Bottled beer only, and minimal wine selection. Pricing is relatively expensive, but the value... More

Yes ''tis place does have fairly expensive food, but honestly you're probably only in Yellowknife once and this is definitely worth it. Arctic char was one of the best fish dishs ive ever ordered. Great staff and wonderful atmosphere.. just book ahead so you don't have to wait in the cold, as there is no space inside to wait for... More

Be prepared to be full. I would highly recommend that you share the dishes. I could not eat even half of the whitefish. This is all fresh fish from the local waters and is amazing. When ever you go to Yellowknife make sure to stop in. No need to dress up. Prices are high but worth every penny. But seriously... More

I always order the deep fried fish.. the fish is caught locally so you know it will taste very good. The service is always friendly and efficient. I will recommend this restaurant 100% to everyone who loves fish. They also have delicious baked buns and fresh salad. Comfortable atmosphere
