Good food, poor setting and TOO PRICEY! Imagine eating a steak on a park bench. The decor is repulsive.

Excellent food and service!!! Representing the best in Yellowknife. Don't miss the buffalo steak and deep fried fish.

Our friends recently moved to Yellowknife and highly recommended we eat here. When we all got there there was not a long wait considering how packed it was. The service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I do not like seafood and let me tell you this was incredible so much so I would totally have it again!... More

We had dinner at Bullocks twice while in Yellowknife. We were travelling with a small dog and were allowed to eat on the deck. They hadn't officially opened the deck area yet, but were very accommodating, which we really appreciated. Food was good and plentiful. We had a nice, sheltered spot and it was lovely to sit outside!

We were charmed by the chaotic rush of the restaurant - diners wanting to dine and cooks trying to prepare all the meals. The food was delicious (ample portions, sauces and seasoning and warm bread); the best in Yellowknife. We went twice and each time was different; one head cook was more social and relaxed; the other seems a bit... More

We tried Bullock's located in Old town. Bullock's: A small dinner in a hot tourist spot with lots of history and character; apparently had only recently changed ownership. One unsmiling waitress; drinks were self-serve from fridge beside the kitchen; one unsmiling cook; you might need reservation in high season; it has only 5 or maybe 6 tables separated from the... When in Yellowknife it is a must to try Bullock's Bistro, right? The joint is definitely unique. Very small with that run down kind of look. On first sight you can't believe there is a restaurant in there. Step in and the place is packed. You better have a reservation or be by yourself so you can squeeze in at... More

Best Fish I have eaten in my entire life! There is always a wait so make sure that you are not starving. I promise you, it is well worth the wait! Make sure you get the dressing with your salad! We also walked from DT, and it only took us like 20 minutes.

A "hole in the wall" but a must visit in Yellowknife. Homemade everything and great service. The fish on the menu is whatever comes out of the lake and is prepared in an open style kitchen. Gives you a homey feel and is very comfortable. It's pricey but worth it!
