The Fort Anne Café is very much a traditional Nova Scotian dinner - but it is not a greasy spoon. I love going there for breakfast and have to say that the bacon is crisp, so are the home fries, and the coffee cup is always full. The quality of the food and preparation is above the average of what... More

My friend and I ate breakfast there a couple of times during the week we stayed in Annapolis Royal. The food was very good... I especially liked the home fries/breakfast potatoes. It is a small establishment but seems very popular with the locals.

Each day's special appears on the sandwich board "excuse the pun" in front--we were a bit surprised when ordering the bean and bacon soup to find a clear broth with green beans--but it satisfied our need for some nourishment for the busy day ahead!

While on vacation decided to take a little day trip.. Ended up in Annapolis Royal. Lunch time, so while looking around town decided to grab some lunch. Glad we stumbled across this place! Food was great, price was so good we had dessert! We will be back!

This is a little cafe right across from the fort. The food was good and not expensive. Good spot for families. Not noisy.

The chocolate milkshake is thick and made with rich chocolate ice cream. A nice medium size cafe in the center of Annapolis Royal.

After checking out two other places in town (ridiculously expensive, too loud, horrible Wi-Fi) we settled here, exhausted after driving, thirsty, and desperate to check e-mail for news of our sick cat. The waiter/manager/great guy let me check to make sure I was connected before we ordered, educated me about why frozen scallops are better, brought icy cold sodas fast,... More

This is exactly what you think it would be - diner food in a little place popular with locals. The food was good and the prices reasonable. We were there for breakfast.

This is nice little restaurant in a small building opposite Fort Anne. The restaurant is clean but not particularly well illuminated. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the service is good. The menu is typical for a small town and is "home cooked" style in nature. A nice little cafe to get a quick lunch (soup, sandwiches, coffee),... More
