We wanted to have a light snack and a cup of tea and coffee. The blueberry turnovers were really good, as was the coffee but the tea tasted very fishy, it was undrinkable.

We had an afternoon snack here: lemon meringue pie and coffee. The pie tasted homemade, with a tasty crust and delicious filling. The meringue was so tall! Service was fast and friendly, in a rustic setting. It's quite popular with the locals and, therefore, busy.

Staff were very friendly. Smaller and quaint restaurant. Excellent fresh homemade carrot soup. I had soup/chicken sandwich different choices of fresh made bread. It was made with real chicken not deli meat. My husband had a special the panini both had lots of fresh veggies in them.

Went there on a Monday afternoon for lunch to a light afternoon crowd. First time impression: great food, good prices, slow service. The soup & sandwich were delicious and top-notch quality, but the wait staff person seemed distracted and forgetful. Still worth the trip, and would still return.

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of our hotel. It is a nice casual place with great sandwiches on excellent bread.

Went there for lunch, visiting Annapolis Royal. Small, but interesting menu. Food excellent, especially the pies for dessert. Staff friendly. efficient. It is in a very old house, with info about the house evident. We were seated in a room with toys in the corner, which our 2 year old made good use of.

Stopped in for coffee and tried the strawberry shortcake. What a shock. It was huge and we couldn't stop laughing...but ate most of it. Delicious. Went back the next day for lunch of a chicken curry sandwich. Homemade bread too. Outside tables were a treat.

Thank hgnar
