I stop in here about once a month. I usually try a coffee, mocha or cappuccino and of course the croissant of the day (if there are any left!) there is always consistency and friendly staff, and depending on my timing- not much of a lineup!

This place is worth the hype, but also a little aware of it at the same time. They do need know how to make coffee and how to bake treats, but the staff seems to be a bit aware of their reputation, and therefore are not the friendliest. Still a worthwhile place to stop into, especially the original Dartmouth location... More

I love the croissants and the coffee but three times I have arrived from rural Nova Scotia to have coffee and crumpets (preferably an almond or chocolate croissant) but at around 1:30pm or so and they have run out. They still had a few cookies left but I am not a fan. If they close at 2:00pm then I get... More

Everyone had said great things about here so I was really looking forward to visiting. There is a cool vibe here, but it was really busy and I considered the coffee to be average and overpriced. I could have skipped the trip to be honest.

Great drinks, amazingly large and tasty cookies and croissants. A must-do when in Dartmouth. Nice large table to drink and share with strangers and a good street vibe.

The best croissant is the chocolate one. It is big enough to share. It is not too sweet and goes so well with a hot cup of coffee. Always a great treat.

My friend said these were the best croissants in the world. I was skeptical, but he wasn't wrong. I had a chocolate croissant which was the perfect blend of salty and sweet. The pastry was incredibly flaky. The home made chai tea will blow away any die-hard Starbucks Tazo Chai fan, and the communal seating guarantees you'll always meet new... More

This was my 2nd experience at TIBS. I just don't know why the coffee staff are so standoffish and remote. They don't seem to want to make a connection with the regular folk, I wished that I was wearing a plaid shirt, Birkenstocks and had a small tattoo. The coffee is great, but the overall experience is lacking. I don't... More
