You need to step back a step and slow down to eat here. Wonderful place where everyone knows everyone. I was looking for Norm! Homemade blueberry scones. Wonder fine breakfast. Just nice but as I say, give it a rest and enjoy. For those in a hurry, go to the chain resturant. Wonderful experience

Our group wanted a simple, relatively inexpensive place for breakfast and we found it at Annie's. We had great service and a great breakfast. The homemade bread for toast or breakfast sandwiches is a must! An easy walk from downtown hotels.

Took the family for breakfast and wasn't overly impressed with most of the food. Good...but average except for the eggs Benny which were very good. Bread did not seem overly fresh (maybe yesterday's as we went first thing) Nice people though.

This great spot feels like you are in someone's home. Annie is so inviting and makes you feel so welcome. She honestly cares about each patron that walks through the door and takes the time to talk and sometimes sit down to chat. What a bonus that she can also cook!

Greeted by friendly owner in a cosy Cafe filled with bright sunlight. The atmosphere was adorable. But the food was average and cafe latte and cappuccino wasn't good at all.

Dined here the morning after Canada Day when very few people were out and about. A little out of the way from the busier downtown streets but still very close. Annie was friendly and the food was very good. Service was a little slow but adequate. It has a small, intimate feel and you can watch your breakfast being made... More

We breakfasted at Annie's twice in June. The food was outstanding - freshly baked bread (by Annie herself), amazing bacon, beautiful eggs and omelettes, good strong coffee. The atmosphere was perfect: a tiny (6 or 7 tables) neighbourhood spot with very friendly patrons and great conversation. And Annie herself is a wonderful cook, and a superb hostess. We felt as... Great food and great service. Annie works the counter and cooks up awesome home cooked breakfast. Fresh eggs and fresh homemade baked bread for toast that is delicious. Very friendly

Annie's is a one-of-a-kind cafe and that is all down to the wonderful Annie herself. The owner is a one-woman show and is as welcoming and friendly as is physically possible. She cooks up great meals for her guests, and most of the people inside are regulars who trust her to cook up what she knows they like without having... More
