I have been to the Lions Tavern on several occasions and everything I have ate there has been suburb! I have had a hamburger, white chicken chili, walleye strips, bruchetta and other entrees and apps. Their lemon drop martinis are awesome too. But what really stood out was when one of the bartenders said they loved working there, that impressed... More

The food/beverage at the Lions Head is always good with good size portions. Food is always hot and served quickly. The staff is friendly and quick to wait on their customers. The menu is a typical pub/tavern food. I personally like the pan-fried haddock. The fish and chips are also very tasty. Can't go wrong with this place. Prices are... More

This was the first time I was at the Lions Head in a few years, and although the menu looks pretty good, the food didn't live up to the description on the menu. We had a few mixed drinks and they were really good, although served in somewhat smaller glasses compared to other pubs I have been to. The burgers... More

My mom and I went here for an early dinner. This was not our first time and it is usually good but this time it was great. My mom had liver, onions and bacon and she loved it. It was very tasty. My Chicken burger was great and I upgraded to potato skins with it and they were so good.... More

Service is impeccable. They have ample seating inside and a great patio.I always ask to sit in Stephens section or at the bar with Becky.

We (group of 4) stopped by on a Friday at noon. The server came quickly and took our drink order and returned for the food orders. I shared the Big Boy Club Sandwich with my wife and an order of the boneless wings with the sweet chili Thai sauce. She always orders the Big Ben (also highly recommended) but wasn't... More

If tavern food is your fancy then the Lion's Head will give you no surprises. Solid menu with lots of favourite food. Plenty of beer on tap to quench any taste buds. My wife had the steak wrap. Ok steak (lots of marinating went into the steak) and the fries were great. I had the standard liver and onions. Very... More

Groupon is a wonderful place that will assist you in trying new restaurants that you might not otherwise try. That is what happened here. I got a groupon for Lion' s Head about two months ago to try something new in the city. We went and it was really good. We each got the 10oz strip. I paid extra for... More

Lots of free parking and a great deck. We entered through the tavern and it was very dark and stinky, I would not have eaten there if I had to dine inside. Service was great and the eggs benny was very good, as well as the Caesar!
