My husband and I had a lovely seafood dinner tonight. Atypical for us, we ordered the same dishes. We started with the chowder which was rich with cream and sherry but not tasting much of fish, although there were chunks of fish in the soup....More

Stopped in for a quick pint. Good service, very good beer. Too early for supper but the menu looked good. Darkened beams and brass bar rails, great atmosphere. Regret not stopping for an early supper

Food was excellent -- except for several plates that were cold. After they were replaced, that food was excellent, too.

Was heading to somewhere else when found this restaurant. Very accomodating and found us a table downstairs. Good wine list tried a bottle of Canadian Chardonnay very enjoyable. Food rich but very good.

We really enjoyed our visit to Press Gang. The food was excellent, and the service was great. The restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in Halifax. They have done a great job modernizing it while keeping the charm of the older building.

Had an appetizer and a beer at the pub. Both were very good. They have a nice selection of local beers as well as a very wise selection of whiskeys. The tuna tataki is a good portion size and I really enjoyed my dirty blond...More
