One of my favourite breakfast and lunch spots in town. Great coffee and teas. Soups are always so delicious. Very fresh and many healthy options to choose from! Patio is lovely in the summer.

Very good food, very friendly staff, nice decor, and smooth background music. Very relaxing, even for a business lunch. It breaks from the speedy/connected business world. Bring spare change for your parking spot on the street. Enjoy!

Us girls stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The place is cozy with some great art (some for sale) and the food selection is fresh and home made. We’ll definitely eat there again.

Thank you so much for the review!! Speaking of spring...any word? Can't wait to actually have warm enough weather to get the patio up! Should be up within the next month if Mother Nature cooperates. Hope to see you then!

I have to start out with the coffee! When you sit down and are served, the first thing at breakfast is: "What would you like to drink?" The coffee at this place is quite obviously made by a coffee snob! Someone who KNOWS coffee. They...More

Description
We are a mindful independently owned cafe in the heart of downtown Barrie with a focus on fresh and conscious eating. Open seven days a week we offer a breakfast and lunch menu that strongly emphasizes vegetarian and gluten free options along with locally raised meats & free range eggs. Everything is made in house including our sandwich bread which is a whole wheat focaccia & our soups which are always made gluten free. The Lazy Tulip vibe is worldly, spiritual & funky. We are proud to serve Planet Bean coffee, a small micro-roaster from Guelph along with Pluck tea.
