Wasn't familiar with this place but got stuck attended a meeting in the banquet room downstairs. Oh my goodness upon walking up to the place from the parking lot and viewing the upstairs restaurant I thought "This place is a dump". It is. I can't believe anyone would rent a banquet hall in such a dumpy place.

We go for breakfast most weekends and it is really quite good! Great portions, great taste and great value-Try the shredded hash browns mixedwith sauteed onions! The ambiance reflects years of nightly neighborhood pub activity, but is still a fine, casual place to have brekkie. Due to last minute changes, we ended up going for Thanksgiving dinner with a party... More

My friend & I always go out Wednesday, this day we thought we would try a new place. It is defiantly more a bar scene than anything. I asked the waitress about the pizza, on how many slices it is. Her response was " I don't know' !? I inquired more and again responded "nobody has ever bought pizza"!? So... More

We went in last Saturday on a whim, having just visited the local post office. The banner said all day breakfast 4.99 - so we thought why not. The ambience was poor, dark like a disreputable dive. There was at least 1 family having breaksfast so we decided to stay. we chose to sit in the bar area so we... More

No one greeted us upon arrival, tables were very dirty. Under new management but still using old menus. Stuffed sole is advertised to include leeks, club Sandwhich states that cheese is included. To our surprise, our meals arrived with neither. When we inquired, we were advised that new management does not include these ingredients, so why is it written in... More

The food really was amazing. We had the salmon and sole. Cooked excellently and very reasonably priced. Lots of beer options as there is quite a selection on draught. Great place to catch the game as it is more like a sports bar.

The Windjammer is as much bar as restaurant with live band music on the weekends. On my last visit here, I had their ribs which were tender, juicy and delicious. My wife had an appetizer sized salad with chicken which she found very good and was a quite large portion. On previous visits I have enjoyed their excellent fish and... More

We hit the Jammer for dinner last night. Every night there is a special offered, (and right now, a Playoff Hockey menu, too! Totally casual, but they "do" parties and wedding receptions, too. Billiards, games, big screens with satellite! 2 for 1 wings last night, perfectly cooked and seasoned...and a couple of very cold beers on a very warm night... More

I went to Windjammers for an evening out with a friend and was extremely satisfied with the service, the quality and quanity of the food. I ordered the jambalaya and my friend ordered the curry chicken and we very happy with our selection! I will return again..probably sooner than later!
