We arrived on a Sunday afternoon at around quarter to one. There is a parking lot in front and some spots on the side of the restaurant. Also, a patio exists to the side of the building. Upon entering, we were greeted immediately by a waitress. Ushered to a table, we had a view of the entire restaurant. The bar... More

I try to get to this spot when I'm in town which is not too often, but I did get back there last night. They always have a few specials and oysters on the half shell and sea bass were included on the list this time around. I ordered both, along with a glass of white wine and absolutely enjoyed... A late birthday dinner with some great jazz music! A gem in the GTA. A return visit for us Nova Scotians. Love the food quality, great service and fine atmosphere.

Went to Lowville Bistro for New Year’s Eve and experienced a fabulous night from start to finish. We enjoyed an extravagant five-course meal complete with complementary New Year’s Eve bubbly and party favours to ring-in 2017. Music featured modern/classic Jazz with guitar, base and vocals that entertained for more than three hours! The management and staff were kind and attentive,... More

We ate at this elegant bistro in Lowville for dinner. We sat inside; but, the patio area looked very inviting as well. The atmosphere inside was lively (on a Saturday); the wait staff were all pleasant and attentive. The decor was romantic and cozy. The food was quite good. As a group, we had their thin crust pizza (a bit... More

We love the Lowville Bistro, we live in Milton and it's only a a short 15 minute drive away and has parking. Lowville is a quaint little gem just across from Lowville park. If you haven't been it's a must try. We especially enjoy the live Jazz sessions with Sonia Collymore on Sunday's from 6-9pm. Sonia is a Juno award... More

We have been to the Lowville Bistro several times over the years. Always a great meal and yummy desserts. On this visit, we didn't receive a warm welcome. When the server asked for our order, she then mentioned the daily specials. We feel that the specials should have either been written on a board or included with the menu. My... More

Thanks for your review. We do have a specials board to the right of the dessert case on the back wall (depending where you were sitting, it could have been hidden!). It is usually updated prior to lunch/dinner opening, but I will make sure the staff let our guests know the specials are written there in case you don't see... More

Went for lunch and decided to sit inside, although it was a nice day. There is a nice patio outside. We had a booth table by the window... for 3. The quiche and caesar salad was very good...even with real bacon on the salad. Service was also very good. The only negative, the pricing for lunch seemed a bit high.... More
