Walk in, it's warm and personal decor but quiet and not in your face. The food is what stands out, when you settle in you'll see why this place has high ratings. Great service, unique and crazy affordable prices, awesome food.

Love eating here. Great portions, fresh ingredients. Salad dressing is awesome! The waitstaff is knowledgeable and very willing to adjust menu items for preferences and food sensitivities..

It was a sunday visit and the café was busy. Before I was seated I noticed that it was not as clean as it should be. Décor was good and felt comfortable. I was seated at a table close to window-there was dust on ledge and window area and crème on floor where I was seated. Coffee was good. The... More

While visiting Guelph, we stopped in for breakfast, and this place sounded fun. It quite lived up to expectations, with fun, eclectic decor, and interesting art. But the best was the food - all made right there to order (the hardboiled eggs did take a while to arrive). The homemade jam was great, and the scones to die for. We... More

This is a great place to go for breakfast if--like me--you like your guac, fried beans and tortillas! They offer salads with breakfast which are a great balance and are really tasty! Great for vegetarians too.

I've been to The Joint Cafe twice for a business lunch. Both times disappointing. The food was mediocre. My colleague did not complete her salad as it didn't taste fresh. My grilled cheese was basic at best. Service was slow and I didn't get my receipt as requested (paid cash).

Going out on a Sunday morning in Guelph we were hoping not to wait more then a half hour to get in anywhere. Luckily we got the last available table at the Joint. The food was very good. I enjoyed the breakfast skillet, while my family all had the eggs Benny and all enjoyed it. We had to wait about 40... More

A nice casually hip setting, but the lunch is over-priced and was average to good taste wise. The BLT was tasty but 13$ for a lunch bacon sandwich is crazy. The sliced chicken on salad was too plain tasting, and the veggy salad was rated very good. The egg sandwich was more reasonably priced at 7$ and was enjoyed. They... More

Recently tried for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Service and breakfast sandwich was good but there wasn't a lot to choose from. Artwork on the walls was a nice touch. Downtown location with street parking only.
