This is a must for us when we visit Kingston. We do a lunch or dinner when in town. The food is great and the German beer is delicious. The menu is good with a lot of options. There is a patio in the back...More

The rear patio is delightful on a sunny day. There is an interesting selection of German beers. We shared a "Chicken on a Bun" and a serving of "Russian Eggs". Both were excellent and very good value. The sauerkraut is vert tasty (I am not...More

I had a dinner with my husband and little daughter when we drove by Kingston. We have no idea where should we have a dinner but just don't want to go to the same city hall area. I google it and asked my husband interested...More

My wife and I ordered schnitzel and they were very good. The one with the brie and german prosciutto was to die for. Starter salads were interesting - came with 3 kinds of salad - a carrot salad, potato salad, and green salad all very...More

No German restaurants near our home so we had to try this place out and it didn't disappoint. Service was great and so was our dinner. Portions are large. Two half Schnitzels and sides of red cabbage and Sauerkraut was really more than we needed....More

My family and I lived in Germany for four years. This restaurant would have been a favorite of ours if it was there. Excellent German food, good service, reasonable price, good selection of German beer and everything but the apfel strudel fur die nachspeise.

We had a second lunch here last week. Both of us had the lunch schnitzel. Delicious! It's too bad that we live out of town because it will be too long before our third trip.

Sorry there was no room on the patio ... we look at that as a good thing. Perhaps you were not aware that you were in a German restaurant, hence all the schnitzel and sausage options. If you looked a little closer at the menu...More

Quaint little resto serving German style food. Very busy even on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm which is always a good sign. Food was good, the beer selection was good and there was lots of staff on the floor so no waiting.

the parking lot behind the Amadeus is the best bet. Free after 5 pm and you can come right in through our patio off the Upper Robert Bruce Parking lot as "Brimur94 mentioned. Thanks\
