Great pub food. Service always spot on. Love the pot pies, fish and chips, reubens. Chips are the best. Not a quiet place at peak times, but it's a true pub atmosphere. Only complaint would be that I'm not a fan of the peas &...More

Great British pub in a completely charming Canadian cottage town. We had fish and chips--what else?--and they were perfect. Recommend for a fun casual meal in a wonderful town.

Delicious food and wonderful old feel. We could tell as soon as we walked in that this was a very old building. Glad we went there!

The Olde Angel Inn is a favorite. The Guinness and beef onion pie is our absolute favorite ( with a Guinness ofcourse) another great dish is their shepherds pie. There's a lot of history with the building and they also have rooms to rent upstairs.

My husband and I ate at the Olde Angel Inn today. Upon walking in, we were greeted with kind of a rank odor and sticky floors. Must have been the effects of 200+ years of spilled beer. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. I...More
