Excellent food and prices. There is a big area for dining in. I took food for take out. Staff is helpful and they suggested a menu for what I felt like eating.

My first and last time going here, the lady behind the counter was rude and the place looked dirty. The food was not very good and a disappointment. You should save your money and go somewhere else.

This is my "go to" for Canadian Chinese food. Portions are huge and the pre-set dinners are inexpensive. The delivery has always been prompt and the food hot on arrival.

Went here with family to celebrate grandmother's 85 birthday . One table ordered a set menu for 10 and our table ordered a variety of dishes from the menu. Although the set menu was ok all the dishes that were ordered off the menu were not great. The fried rice was ok but not a wow. The wonton soup definitely... More

Whenever someone is sick in our house, we order one of the New Hong Shing's delicious soups. They have spectacular egg rolls that are on par with golden palace (in my opinion) and their won ton soup is superior to the others I have tasted in Ottawa. Cantonese fried noodles is a delicious dish that is hearty and full of... More

Have ordered food from this place for years, and generally the food is above average for Chinese dishes in Nepean. So I keep going back. But it is inconsistent. More times than not, the food leaves my guests taking their number, other times I'm apologizing for the saggy veggies or overcooked beef. But even then, the portions are generous and... More

The soup here is amazing. They have bubble tea and large portion sizes at good price point. if you like Chinese food you should come here.

My friends recommend this restaurant and our family went and tried it. The taste of the food is fair, the serving is so small and a lot of extenders where you could hardly see the meat. One of our orders is beef with black bean sauce-- full of onions and green peppers...where's the beef? I find the quality is not... More

Despite not being in Chinatown, this family run restaurant turns out high quality, freshly prepared, authentic Cantonese food. It's run by a husband and wife team, with assorted other family members in attendance. Yesterday, their eight year old son was solving the problems of the world on his iPad. Their father was chowing down on something that looked delicious. We... More
