My husband and I enjoyed the most delicious homemade onion soup. We have tried onion soup in other restaurants but this one was the best by far. Our waitress was jovial and very attentive to our needs.

Booked The Armada Lounge upstairs from The Brig for a private function for 20 people. Yianni made it easy to book, the service from Chelsea Sarah and Erin was amazing, and the meals and cocktails were top notch. It's a great space with a warm atmosphere and we'll most definitely be back. All around an easy and great experience. Highly... More

Although a lot of restaurants in the Byward Market are pubs, this one isn't your typical pub with pub-style food. It has a more classy feel (and taste) to it. The food was delicious and the prices didn't break the bank. The portions are also just right. The salmon was cooked to perfection (and for some spice, the wasabi sauce... More

We had an un-winder holiday party at the Brig Pub/Armada Lounge. It was a well organised event and a fun after- party dancing. Perfect service and cosy atmosphere!

Smaller venue, better than a loud and noisy chain restaurant. A nice selection of food (see their website for menu). Was a bit worried when we walked in on a Monday night and the place was almost empty, but the food was good and our table had no issues with our meals or the service. I would go back.

Stopped in here on a whim for dinner on a Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised. Had a cozy table by the fireplace and all of us enjoyed our meals (the baked Brie was fantastic as a starter with wine). The service was excellent and prices were reasonable. Would certainly go back!

Hamburgers were like a photo and were delicious. Staff were extremely attentive. Their chicken/rice/mushroom dish was excellent. The manager even visited us which was most impressive.

Last Saturday evening, my fiance, I and my sister in law went to the Brig for drinks and dinner. We were greeted warmly by one of the servers and were taken care of throughout the evening. Our drinks were good, and all 3 dinners were delicious. If you are looking for a pub atmosphere with very good food, please give... More

Randomly stopped in to watch the Winter Classic Oilers game and had a beer and meal. The food was excellent, but the service was even better. I regret not getting the server's name because she deserves the recognition.
