The beer and cocktails were great. The yokies were outstanding and the chicken tacos were nice. The steak was very ordinary.

We were seated right away on the first floor as my dinner companion uses a cane. It was Taco Tuesday so he ordered 3 chicken tacos. There was hot sauce all over them - he couldn't taste anything of the ingredients. He took one bite and couldn't eat any more. I finished the rest of that taco and we returned... More

There are way better pubs in ottawa if you want more than basic pub food. The atmosphere of this pub is awesome old world style, but since the original owner sold it and the new owners are Cara foods I have no use for it.

Friday night at six may not be the best time to try a new spot but it was worth the jam packed and noisy crowd. It was so crowded that our table was mere inches from the next and when they sat a couple down beside us they looked very uncomfortable being so closely surrounded by others on all sides... More

This is my favourite pub to go to in Ottawa! Their menu is fantastic and is switched up regularly enough, lots of tasty vegetarian options as well. Their beet salad is so delicious and their drinks are awesome. I have been served by Tara a few times and she is just wonderful. I'm glad to say that the quality and... More

My first visit in several years. It was a busy pre-concert dinner hour. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, hot and served in good portions.

The best Irish coffee for a very cold and snowy day! We had lunch, my fish chowder was excellent. We had great service!

My husband and I decided to visit D'arcy McGee's to have a quick St-Patrick's Day celebration. We were able to get a table right away and I was pleased to hear they had gluten-free beer, Daura Damm, which is the best gf beer I've tried so far. Leave it to the Irish pub to finally serve me drinkable gf beer!... More

D'Arcy's seems to have gone downhill. The beer selection is still great, the staff are friendly, but the food has become dreadful. Last night one us cleverly chose a Caesar salad, which is designed to come cold. Pity about the cold fries and lukewarm coffee. We'll be going elsewhere to eat from now on.

You feel the energy, service is great and rather fast considering it was packed. Food was good and generous servings. a pleasant evening and very accommodating staff for our party arriving at different times.
