Great food excellent staff

Great food, cooked to perfection. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes. The lamb shank for also delicious as was the shrimp sandwich. The service was excellent despite them being really busy and quite short staffed -...they were all still really pleasant and attentive. The cocktails were also delicious and they have many great wine options too.More

Wonderful rainy Sunday lunch - fabulous service

LUXE Bistro offers a warm and welcoming environment with amazing food and exceptional service. Our first visit here. Immediately seated at a relaxing booth (with nice safe separation from other patrons). Our server Fred was great - always available but let us relax and enjoy...our drinks, app, and meal. Highly recommend - pistachio crusted goat cheese - a very filling starter for 3 to share - Waldorf wedge salad with blue cheese - tuna crudo - organic chicken (very moist and tender) We look forward to a return visitMore

Excellent all around

The electric squid are to die for and definitely one of the best I’ve eaten. Another one of our favourites is the baked goat cheese appetizer. The apps will file you up and you may not have room for a full main course. We usually...split the main course. The service is always great with Trevor, George’s or Brooke. Can’t wait to go back.More

Impeccable !

Had a corporate event there, the service was top notch, the food was excellent. Their appetizers - we had caesar salad, tuno crudo and baked goat cheese - were delicious and the portions were very generous - they could have been half the size and...we would have been happy. Our mains were the 8-oz filet mignon, organic chicken and mushroom cavatelli - all were sublime. You HAVE to have the blueberry creme brulee - to die for! We will definitely come back!More

Amazing Food

The quality of food at Luxe was AMAZING, worth the cost for sure, the service was friendly and fast. Would definitely go back here again.

Awful service with a side of generic food

Maybe I'm asking too much of a brunch bistro...I'm no stranger to waiting for a good mean but is it too much to ask for a friendly smile on a Sunday afternoon? Our meals were a sad state of presentation. Salt and pepper shakers were...reverse...anyone make that mistake? I rarely have a bad experience at a restaurant yet i left here with a very sour disposition. Gross food with surly staff...save yourself the trouble and find a street vendor or a coffee shop instead!More

An excellent steak!!

Make sure you make a reservation if you don’t want to be disappointed. The restaurant is lovely with great window views to people watch in the Byward Market. Although we didn’t eat a lot, the steak and frites were amazing along with the wine. A...definite go to if you’d like a great steak and excellent service!More

Great dinner

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. Our waitress was very friendly and engaging. Food was delicious (steak sandwich and cod, then creme brulee for dessert). My only minor complaint was that we were the first people in the restaurant. We were seated...at a table for 2 in the middle of the restaurant. A few minutes later a party of 4 arrived and were seated next to us. In this era of Covid, wouldn't it have made a lot more sense to space people out more? Next time we dine here I will request a window table so that we are far removed from other patrons.More

Good Food

Had dinner at the Luxe . The evening we were there the restaurant was very busy. As busy as it was the service was good and the wine and food were excellent. I had a steak that would melt in your mouth.

Great food and amazing wine

The food was amazing and the wine was delicious, highly recommend this place, prices are a bit up but they are worth it. I had the oysters and they were yummy
