Havent been here for a couple of years so we decided to make this the place to go for lunch today with family from out of town... Stopped in for lunch and we we were greeted promptly by a friendly waitress who I wish we had gotten her name.. She was fantastic! Excellent customer service skills and we watched as... More

We moved away from Sarnia about 15 years ago. On return visits to see family, there are a couple of restaurants we choose to go to...one being the Cromwell Grill. Usually there are 8-12 of us that gather around the table for visiting and some home cooking. This visit was no different. We usually eat here, as a family, 4-5... More

Went for lunch and ordered the special, salad and western sandwich. The waitress brought me a salad with lettuce (some of it brown) that was it, no carrots , nothing. I complained and she brought me something better like she was really being nice to me. The waitress had a lot of attitude. This restaurant has really gone down, starting... More

This low cost restaurant is good for home style foods at very reasonable prices. Dinner comes with soup or salad and the portions are very generous

Food is good, tasty, well-portioned and unpretentious. Pretty much what you would expect at a traditional diner. Way too noisy though, not good for conversation or families with small kids. Being an all-day breakfast joint you would expect better quality coffee but it's not undrinkable. Service however is extremely poor, servers have no manners and zero customer-service skills. We went... More

The waitress was not happy that we we had a larger party , we decided to go last minute at a usually friendly place that we used to know. She seemed annoyed when asking her for items that she forgot to bring out in the first place. The other guests were more friendly to us than our waitress.

Called 4 times to make a reservation and the phone was never picked, so we took a chance & met friends at 6:00 p.m. They accommodated us in the back (quieter, so great, but right under the overhead heater and it was HOT). Were advised they were out of: mashed potatoes, the special, spaghetti, salad (except Greek), pork chops, and... More

This place has been around for years and has always served family style diner type food that is good and wholesome. One of the better places in town that serve liver and onions right! The portions are good and you are either full or taking some home. The staff is cordial and quick to serve. No fancy meals but very... More

Basic diner food. Hamburgers, fries, all the usual. Not my cup of tea as I prefer healthier options.

Recently had a family luncheon at this restaurant~ have been going here for the past 20some odd year and still has the same great food! Waitress seemed a little rushed...a little disappointed in that sense (and the reason for a 4/5) but overall experience was pretty good. Highly recommend for some good home cooked food!
