My wife and I recently dined here prior to seeing a play ( Guys and Dolls. Amazing!) We were greeted by friendly staff who attentive enough without being intrusive, and who had a good knowledge of the menu, the ingredients, and its local availability. We...More

I was a part of a party of eight who recently spent a week in Stratford. We had ample opportunity to experience a number of restaurants, and we all agreed that this was the winner. We look forward to returning next year.

This is a warm and friendly establishment. Three of us shared the beets, green beans and Brussels sprouts as starters. Outstanding. The brisket was tasty! Attentive and professional service throughout our dinner. Make reservations - the restaurant is small and popular.

I had not dined at Keystone Alley Cafe for a few years, since the previous chef/owner had retired. I was hesitant to return having been a fan of the restaurant in its previous incarnation. All I can say is the Keystone Alley Cafe of today...More

Although the food was mostly fine, the service was poor. The waitress was very inattentive, and we had to wait too long for everything. We allowed plenty of time to make sure we made our show right across the street, so we had a 6:00...More

I thought the lunch was excellent. Delicious, fresh food, down to the pink salt and perfect aioli. Service was also very good. I would definitely return and recommend.

The food is always good. The service was poor. The same waitress was assigned to the patio as well as inside. We where inside. Waited over 20 minutes to get the check paid. The food, as always, was very good.

We will definitely return, hopefully to the lovely patio next time. I had the Hippie Bowl....it was amazing. My daughter had the muscles with linguine, it was fresh and plentiful. We had ordered the brussel sprouts and they had been forgotten. They offered us free...More

We chose this restaurant based on the recommendations of several folks. We had the fish and chips. My friend needed gluten free and it was provided. She was originally from Nova Scotia and she just raved about it. Will recommend it to others.

My wife and I went here for dinner together on a Friday night. The ploughman's platter was excellent and portions of each were the largest we have seen to date on an appetizer board. The chicken with brussel sprouts was excellent. The ale braised beef...More

My suggestion is, the next time you go to Keystone Alley, takse a piece of paper and a pencil, note down all the flavours you can find as you taste, then ask your waistafer to take it, along with your request for the balance... More

Description
For three decades The Keystone Alley Café has continually evolved, from its start as a small coffee shop into the popular casual fine dining restaurant that you see today. The Keystone Alley Cafe was named after the well-known Keystone Bakery located on these premises earlier. The 'alley' in the current name describes the area adjacent to the restaurant used for patio dining in the summer months. The Keystone Alley Cafe strives to provide a family style menu of fresh, bold flavoured foods, while supporting locally and sustainably. Over the years, many improvements have been made, including the addition of the "Key'd Inn", a spacious two bedroom suite rental situated above the restaurant.
