Famous for its Finnish pancakes, but we had the lunch menu. Great service, ok cabbage rolls, good fish chowder. Basement venue.

The Finn Pancakes are delicious - - we ordered 3 on a plate -- too many, forgot how filling they were, 2 would be plenty. Coffee is good. Service was a little slow; but were on vacation so to us it's all about the atmosphere.

Before I came to Thunder Bay I had numerous people tell me that I had to go to the hoito. And am I ever glad I did. The service was great and the pancakes were the size of my head. Great value. Quaint charm.
