Good taste. Price is really good. Quantity of Chutneys is very less every time. Need more attention to cleanliness of their plates and glasses.

So much better than the competition! Fluffy dosas, spongy vadas, tasty chutneys, strong coffee, and so MANY types of dosa. We will come back for sure!

Waiters don't clean their hands after cleaning table with same dirty piece of cloth. They don't clean their hands after picking and dropping dirty dishes. Horrible!

Restaurant is full of flies flying here and there. Qty of shake and lassi is too small that does taste good(dont know if they make it fresh or not). A really bad experience with family would never come here.

This place used to be so good. For vege food this was a good location to come. Slowly the service and management has deteriorated over the years. I will not be coming here any longer. The quality of food has become so poor. A used to be well know place for dosa and idlis-my entree today (ghee dosa) was ripped... More

We enjoyed our dinner at this authentic south Indian restaurant. It is in the Markham McNicoll Centre on the east side of Markham Road just north of McNicoll. My Masala Onion Dosa was warm & crisp. The sambar (lentil soup) was very tasty and not too spicy. The 3 coconut chutneys were each different in flavour and complimented the potatoe... More

Just planned a brunch with friends. Couple of our friends were running late and and they asked us to wait until all the parties arrived. We were hungry and they were not ready to give us a table even though the place was half empty. The manager was rude and really didn't care if went somewhere else. They are getting... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
