With a name like that – who could resist? Actually, we were dragged there by beer aficionado friends and were really impressed by not only the breadth of choice in libations but also the unusual items in the cellar. My find of the night was a Schofferhofer cider that I could drink all night (at 2.5% alcohol I literally could);... More

As most people I went with a friend after a visit at the AGO. Liked the atmosphere although colour choices of lime green and orange for chairs was interesting. Ordered schnitzel which I thought would be veal but was pork. It was inedible. The fries and peppercorn gravy were great, though. The server was terrible and when we told her... More

I've been here with friends for the celebration of my 30th birthday and the time was amazing. The place is very charming and quiet, perfect for talks and laughs. Waiters are very friendly. Food is very good. Beers, amazing. One of the best list of beers ever. Planning ahead to come here for a farewell before leaving Toronto.

Loved the name and looked it up on-line while doing a Google search for Belgian inspired food and muscles near the Art Gallery of Ontario. Very convenient location with three rooms of seating. We got there around 8:30 on a Friday night and the place was bursting at the seams - luckily we had a reservation. Don't plan on having... More

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife while visiting Toronto. The atmosphere of pub was fantastically old world and the fries with cheese curds and gravy was a very satisfying snack. Our waiter had zero personality and was actually a downer and the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5.

We had the Sinner's burger and from the day menu a bison burger. Both were very good and the belgian frites, too. The first 2 beers I tried to order were not available so I went with a cider. The beer is a bit expensive for a german but it went a long was. Funny that the canadian is as... More

I've been to this restaurant 3 times, largely because it is near the Art Gallery of Ontario, however also because the name is funny. The restaurant is located across the road from St. Patrick's cathedral in Toronto; they have a huge variety of craft beers. For redemption... there is the cathedral across the road.

Sin and Redemption is bid as a Belgian-style beer bistro. My test was to ask for any sour beers, which are not common in many beer bars. Here there were several, including two on draft. Belgian it is. We glanced at the food menu and there was a decent variety for a drinking establishment. We were there on a hot... More

Lunch here with 3 friends who really had a good time with the beer selection and the waiter was very knowledgeable about them all it seemed. My drink was a spicy Caesar and it was great. All the food items chosen were great and I really enjoyed the burger. No patio but the windows were open on a fantastic day... More
