I've done a few lunches with colleagues and clients in the seating area but the bar is still the best place Excellent Customer service and you get your drink faster. Dining area. you can go 10 minutes without seeing your... More

Took around 10 minutes for a server to come greet us and take our orders. But other than that the service was good, staff were friendly and the food is great as always. Their nachos is always a great hit and my boyfriend likes their chicken fingers. I love the patio at this location and will definitely come back again.

Do NOT eat here if you have any allergies. A member of our lunch party suffered an anaphylactic reaction following a lunch here. We called the restaurant, and the restaurant tried to blame it on us - that perhaps we had cross contaminated the food. However, this would have been impossible for us to do considering that all we ordered... More

Steaks at Jack Astor is the best in the neighbourhood. It's always juicy and perfectly done. Conveniently located near the Scarborough Town Centre Mall. Staffs are always friendly and welcoming. Great place for hanging out with friends, family, and colleagues.

If women breasts are main reason to go to a restaurant then Jack Astors is the place for you. Middling food. Attentive service and good tv screens to watch the game

My friend and I hadn't been here since the renovation, and although it's nice to look at, thats where it ends. The menu seems much smaller and prices are definitely much higher. $15 for chicken fingers seems a little much for something so average. Our server was attentive until we placed our order, and after that we never saw her... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
