Enjoyed a nice casual evening at Carens . Our server was excellent - good service with humour thrown in . Seemed to be the case with all the servers we observed .We enjoyed a nice cheese & chorizo tray as an appetizer - definitely meant...More

Stopped in for dinner at Carens on a Monday night. One of our party had had a bad experience before, but we decided to give it a chance. When we first arrived we were seated on the back patio - a very nice setting. Our...More

There is now a Carens Rosedale restaurant, presumably by the same people. Not very busy when we were there on a Tuesday night. Service was friendly. Atmosphere is fine. Food still has some improving needed. The soup bowl was hot but the soup was only...More

Nestled in busy Yorkville, the back patio was lovely. It was a hot day so a breeze would have been nice but it was a great setting and would be beautiful at night with the lanterns. I had the eggs benedict and my wife had...More

I had the lobster mac and cheese. A bit Spicy but great taste. The ambience is cozy but a little noisy. The white wine helped to make things even better.

Decided to try again as it is in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, quite the same. Waiter mixed up food order. Burger....dry and tough. Wine list ok but over priced. The staff are friendly but it cannot make up for the cost. How would I use this...More

Waiter was nice and knowledgeable in wine. Good recommendation. But the fondue didn't live up to the standards: too liquid also the bread was really soft. Definitely not from a traditional baguette. Disappointing
