Visited with friends and really enjoyed the evening as an amazing food experience! We shared lots of different and unusual things, all of which were delicious. Notable highlights were the cocktails, horse tartare and bone marrow. Brussel sprout salad and snail pasta were also very...More

This was a lucky find while on vacation. They had just reopened & we were able to dine at the counter & watch the magic. One dish which I don’t tell all my friends about was the horse tartare. I still feel a little guilty...More

The black hoof has had a great history but the new chef James Santon has now taken it over the top. His menu is clever, playful and full of culinary surprises. Highly recommend. Absolutely amazing attention to detail. Great food

First time in the city, and this place was highly recommended. Awesome staff, with an interesting menu. The food was excellent, with some of the better servers I have seen.

Black Hoof is not so much a restaurant as a cruel prank being pulled on the bourgeousie by individuals inspired by the philosophy of Dada. And we fell for it, hard. Start with the bread - effectively three dollars a slice for something other restaurants...More

The ambiance is really nice here, and they have a lot of unique tapa style dishes. Stop by here for the experience and try the bone marrow, horse tartare and whatever else is exotic to you. The food is good, but the portions are tiny....More
