We stumbled on this place while looking to eat somewhere else, said place was closed so we went to Cool. Good music, easy ambiance, great service and the food was really good. We had breakfast, eggs over easy with delicious slaw, and potatoes and a yummy sauce that had some heat in it. Good place!

This is one of my favourite lunch places in the Junction. They have a few delicious vegetarian options to choose from as well as fresh vegan soups. My absolute favourite is cheddar chutney sandwich. Some meals are a bit overpriced, but still worth it. The food is always fresh and the staff is great.

Loved the food, it was amazing. The guacamole is to die for, everything is delicious but quite healthy as well. The coffee is excellent. Store people were great and welcoming.

Cool Hand is a hip little cafe in The Junction neighbourhood. Delicious weekend brunches and some of the best sandwiches anywhere. The owner does her best to source local ingredients and everything is organic. Highly recommended. Try the Avocado Parmesan sandwich or on the weekend, the Fish Tostada - amazing!

Both my colleagues enjoyed their meal and it was quiet and comfortable enough that we could talk for an additional 45 minutes without interruption. The service was friendly and professional. Highly recommend it.

The food is always on spot on, the menu is short and concise, the coffee is amaze. I had the All Day Breakfast Sandwich in several accounts and it is always delicious. I have brought several friends through here and everyone is always pleasantly surprised. If I were to make one recommendation it would be for them to add Bailys... More

I like this place if you are looking for a quiet spot for lunch in the Junction. They have a small menu but everything on it is really good and good for you.

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
