Grouper pho is the go to dish - always. With a singtao beer and a mango shake for the kid, this is a staple restaurant of the 'hood. Couldn't live without it.

A friend who lives in Leslieville recommended this fabulous restaurant and it didn't disappoint. As soon as you walk in the delicious smells from the kitchen whet your appetite. The dishes are interesting and packed with flavour.

My boyfriend and I went here one day when we were too lazy to make dinner and what a good choice! The food is truly delicious. The wait staff, although helpful, did not seem to know the menu very well. That being said, the back patio and the food made up for it without a doubt. Eating outside brings you... More

Of the 4 of us, one knew the owner, Hai, who is truly a gem. The food was delicious and plentiful and service was great. Will definitely be returning. It is cash only, no credit cards, but not expensive.

heard so many great things but this place is a big disappointment. Tried twice. White people seem to love it though. But don't go expecting authentic pho or tasty broth - it's the blandest broth I've ever had. so terrible. And they charge more than real pho places. they don't even offer anything but straight meat in your pho (if... More

I tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. This is their second location on queen street which I have been to the gerrard location and it is not as good. First impression of the place, great decor, welcoming staff. They have a beautiful patio in the back surrounded by green vegetation and bamboo. Excellent atmosphere. I ordered the... More

Always great service. Love the back patio. The pho is bomb and the buddhist treat is my favourite with pork on top. Dont live close by anymore. I really miss this place.

Good food and service. Staff was very helpful with recommendations. I usually order the grouper dish - you can have as a soup or with noodle. Cash only though.

The food is interesting and delicious, the prices are very reasonable, but one of the best features of the restaurant is the charming patio in the back. A great place to visit during the summer in Toronto.

It's two days since we took my mother-in-law there, and she's still raving about how fantastic it was. The decor is pleasant, and paintings and statue of Buddha very scene-setting. Waiters are super-friendly and knowledgeable. The range of menu offerings, especially vegetarian choices, is huge. The cooking is very good. I made a reservation in the morning, telling the owner... Staying in East End

Neighbourhood Profile
East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.
