We tried a variety of apps and all have different mains and nothing was great but nothing was horrible. If you enjoy middle of the road overpriced food then this would be ok. I would skip it and head to one of the other many great restaurants in the area.

I haven’t been to O&B for awhile and on my last visit, I wasn’t happy since the meal was too spicy at the Bayview location. But, I really like this downtown location What I liked: 1. Extremely helpful – the staff helped us store luggage in their closet 2. Two nice areas – casual or fine dining – nice benches/booths... More

I was looking forward to going to Oliver& Bonacini after our show but left feeling disappointed. Staff were friendly, service acceptable. The menu had a lot of nice choices but the four of us all decided on the mac and cheese with different variations re bacon or chicken. What prompted my decision on the mac and cheese was that I... Went here just before the Leafs game for the first time. We didn't sit in the restaurant but ate in the bar instead. It was very noisy in the bar, the service was very very good but had a hard time talking. The menu was very interesting and the food was good. I would go here again but not right... More

In Toronto visiting family during a brutally cold weekend, so standing outside waiting for a table at other Sunday brunch spots wasn't an option. I was a little nervous that we were able to book a table for 5 on short notice...but it turned out the food, service and atmosphere were excellent. I had the avocado toast with bacon and... More

Had a lovely birthday brunch this morning. It was our friends 60th Birthday. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we did not feel rushed. Everyone enjoyed their brunch selections! I'm sorry I did not have the Avocado scotch egg...it looked amazing. I had the Mushroom on Toast..very good light vegetarian fair!

A great night out. Busy restaurant with a varied menu. Plenty of options for food and beverages. Great location and reasonable prices. I will definitely be back.

Nice modern and clean ambiance and pleasant & attentive service, but the food is disappointing. I had the Japanese Caesar Salad, which appeared just to be an inventive name for some lazy cooking. I looked long for the shiitake mushroom and the wasabi peas included, they must have been very finely chopped, and the miso taste wasn't there at all.... More

My girlfriend and I are not from Ontario, but she moved to Toronto to broaden her career experience. She was about to start working at O&B so she wanted to bring me there. Of course, they had not known her at the time of our visit. Having traveled to many places, and a self-declared lover of food, it isn't often... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
