This was my first visit to this chain and this location. On the plus side, we were seated quickly. However, they sat us at a table next to a column. There wasn't even enough room for me to sit. We switched tables, as did the next three couples they plunked there. The pita bread was large and warm. No complaints... More

I really enjoy this location. They have some nice new items such as the Saj wrap. Our server Hassan was professional, attentive and courteous. In fact the food and how welcome Hassan made us feel means I will definitely return.

I was there for my husbands business trip and I wanted something quick and good to eat for lunch. The food was very fresh and the location was very central. The service was very good as well and the price very descent.

It's very sad. What was a good restaurant is now simply terrible. I returned there today again (after a bad visit a month ago - I was praying I was wrong as it's hard to find a decently priced option downtown) and I cannot believe how downhill they've gone. Service was abysmal, food expensive (my salad with chicken Sharma was... More

Had the misfortune of eating at Paramount on Yonge when recommended by a friend. By far the worst lamb I have ever eaten! Tough, over-cooked and poor tasting. Would never go back and will tell my friends

This was my first time at this restaurant which is located just past the Ed Mirvish Theatre and the Younge/Dundas Square in Toronto. I had a Chicken Shawarma Saj Wrap which is served "Tabilyeh Style" on a wooden board. That means it came sliced and served with fries, pickles, pickled beets and garlic sauce. It was delicious and filling. I... More

We went there for dinner. The place was crowded. Small location. Tables were really small , could put only 1 plate anything beyond a plate would fall down. They gave us water in plastic glass , I c Ould still see lip marks from previous customers , that how dirty the cups were. They recommended the hummus , so I... More

The place was very busy, and it seemed that the staff wasn't prepared for busy days! The service was a little bit slow, but the food was fresh

I have went here 4 times now when visiting TO. The food is great and also a VERY good deal. I always share a meat platter with someone for only about 20 bucks all together. And their tiny little desserts are to die for so I get a ton of them, and bring some home. Sitting upstairs is much nicer.... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
