We went to this pub while we were staying at a local hotel. The food was good and the service was good as well (a little bit slow but it was a really busy night). Food did not take that long to come out, and was reasonably priced. Would go back again if we had the chance.

Myself and my wife were both off on a Friday and we were looking for a pub place for food and dropped in. At first it looked dark and deserted but after we went in we found it filling up quickly from the nearby businesses. I had the butter chicken with rice and naan and my wife had the veggie... More

Get it and see. Butter chicken. Enough said. Would like to see butter chicken wings on the menu. When I get wings I order a side of butter chicken sauce. Maybe this is why, as you pay extra for sauce on the side. Great selection and bar specials if you are looking for an after work place to imbibe and... More

So I've tried it a few times - this is home cooking - salads are large - small is enough for lunch. Great Shepherd's Pie. French onion soup very good as well. Service is very good and attentive. Price point is good - different crowd during sports events.

We thought this would be more of an english pub experience, but it was not. But, that being said, the service was great, and the food very good. It is a sports bar atmosphere and we enjoyed it very much. Our waiters were so fun, and great to bring a bit of the area atmosphere to us. They have a... More

I stopped in with friends for snacks and a drink. Stayed for dinner. Not very busy for a Thursday night so service wasn't an issue. Steak sandwich and fries were terrific - as was the cheesecake!

The waitress was extremely friendly. A lot to choose from on the menu. We ate here 3 times, while on a hockey tournament from the states.

As usual, all the tables at Starbucks were taken by people surfing the internet or watching movies but not drinking coffee, so we headed over to Queen's Head Pub, across the parking lot. First impressions were that it was very loud and not terribly nice looking inside. Service was okay, maybe better than okay, but the Sweet Chili Thai wings... More

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
