The food is absolutely delicious! We ordered shrimp chips (great), Tom Kha Gai soup (perfect), chicken curry (careful with the spice) and cassava cake.

When I first moved to this neighbourhood (I live a few blocks from this restaurant), this was my go-to place. That was 5 years ago. The food was fresh, delicious, and used coconut milk for all the curries. Now, the restaurant has expanded to have 3 branches (that's not even counting all the other restaurants owned by the same family)... More

Most dishes on the menu are either gluten free or can be adjusted to be. Everything is good but the red curry is incredible. Creamy, rich and delicious with pieces of perfectly cooked squash - have eaten it probably 100 times and will never get enough. Because of my gluten allergy I've eaten red curry in many restaurants over the... More

So you know a restaurant is good when it's always busy and that's SukoThai . Always busy no matter what day you go , no matter what time. I love everything on the menu but my favourite is their in house hot chill oil. It can get a tiny bit loud but not not uncomfortable. The prices are reasonable and... More

This has to be the best Thai in Toronto! Lots of interesting choices - everything is amazing - I don't think that there's a bad dish here- so feel free to choose anything - tried almost everything and loved everything. Takeout is available.

This was my second visit to this location. We (unwittingly) made the poor choice of sitting near the back by what we came to learn later was the Uber Eats order pickup table. Throughout the whole evening we had Uber Eats drivers and their bags sloshing by us (and through the whole restaurant, I might add). The highlight was when... More

Prices were really reasonable for such large portions and the flavours were incredible. I tend to avoid thai as often it's so hit or miss or just lacking strong hitting flavours, but this was pleasantly surprising. We ordered a mix of spic/ thai spicy and it fully delivered in expectations of spice - plenty of chillis! Will be returning!

Ordered green curry with chicken, clearly specifying that I had a serious allergy to shrimp. Picked up my food and got back to my place only to find that they had given me green curry with shrimp (poured it on the rice), despite the label on the container indicating "no shrimp or shrimp paste". I called and asked the restaurant... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
