They make one of the best pizzas (and there are a variety to choose from). the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the menu has many other things on it than pizza. The salads, the chicken plates, and the gluten-free muffins are delicious. Great coffee as well. The ambience is definitely coffee-house, but they are tables neatly arranged, and... More

This is a very small cafe at the base of a condo. During the summer it is delightful to sit outside as even though you are a stone's throw from one of the city's busiest streets, it feels secluded as you are surrounded by greenery. The food is good and reasonably priced, and during the week they have daily specials... More

I am a regular at this neighbourhood spot. They have great deals on daily specials. This is a nice spot for an outdoor cocktail with man's best friend.

Stopped by this little Italian restaurant for some take-out. The special today was spaghettin & meatballs, which was perfect. This place has the smallest kitchen I have even seen, just a little cubby next to the cash. But the food coming out smelled really good, so I was hopeful. My plate was a perfect quantity, 4 meatballs, nice meat sauce,... More

Next to the Masonic church. Has Great pizzas. Fresh, clean and friendly service. Appears to be a local favourite too - a good sign as always.

Wonderful and friendly European style cafe on the eastern edge of the Yorkville shopping strip. A great place to hang out and chill while the shoppers shop. The theme is chrome oriented, with outdoor and indoor sitting areas. In addition to coffee and pastries, there is a small panini, pizza and pasta service for diners. The service is spotty because... This is a nice spot facing a small park. Enjoyed dinner there and they have a small wine selection and a good menu. Gluten free deserts as well. Will keep going there to this hidden gym.

Great lunch spot for quick bite - wine and beers and you can't beat the handmade thin crust pizzas and the salads. We had Calzone and several of the caprese pizzas - 10 bucks each and to die for.

They changed from two to four seater tables so they no longer discriminate any two people when two people ask for table. In the past they would not give a four seat table to only two persons which was short-sighted on their part. Now I can say I ate there recently several times and the food is exceptional for being... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
