By far the worst experience of my life. Hoping to have a nice shisha, we decided to go in with a group of 12. we were told that if we wanted to sit there we needed to buy a minimum of 3 shishas. when we get the 3 shishas, they were all the wrong flavours. after asking to change it... More

I attended this eatery at a wonderful location on Yonge Street after a Raptors Game. The ambiance was friendly, personable and inviting. Within seconds we were offered a nice table and my friend was invited to smoke a Shisha, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Shortly afterward we were all served the best chicken Shawarmas on the planet.

We dropped in on this unassuming cafe on New Year's Day on a visit to Toronto. I used to live down the street (many many years ago) and there was a great falafel place nearby. That place is long gone but we dropped in to this cafe hungry and hoping to recreate the experience. The falafel was great -- the... More

I just left this resturant without even eating, although I expected good resturant & shisha based on the previous reviews, I found an amazing thing. The waiter looked at me when I sat on one of the tables and he was mad at something as if he just had a fight or something. I waited for him to come &... More

I had never tried Middle Eastern food for breakfast ( or in general) but my wife suggested we try as we walked by. We ordered two types of scrambled eggs, and I must say it was one of the most memorable taste experiences of my life. Interesting spices, great textures and meats, it was sensational

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place walking down Younge Street and decided to get a bite to eat. The Shawarma was delicious and he wanted to try a shisha for the first time, the staff was very friendly and helpful and it was pretty good! :)

Great place to hang out because this is where a bunch of friendly lebanese/iranians were hanging out with their shishas so you can get in on the conversation. The owner gave us lots of freebies and extra helpings which was lovely!

Great place to sit and watch people go by...this restaurant is on Yonge St so there's lots of pedestrian traffic. Service can be a bit slow, but otherwise a nice place to relax. (Food isn't bad either)..

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
