Just next door to our condo. This Irish pub is georgeous. It was the Halloween night when we went for dinner. İt was so quite but very confortable with perfect foods. I highly recommend to all of you.

Pseudo Irish pub, with the wood panelling about the only Irish feeling thing here. Pretty average food, but the beers were good.

We visited this restaurant, a few blocks from Union Station. It was our first time here and we were not disappointed! The Lamb Pie was good, but just needed a few more pieces of lamb. The Cauliflower Curry hit the spot with the amount of spice. The cheesecake, made on site, was delish with the homemade shortbread cookie. Our server... More

The food at this place really wasn't very good. Went on a Friday at around 5:30 PM. It wasn't very busy inside. The southern fried fish was overcooked and fairly bland tasting. My meal of the steak and mushroom boxty was ok but sort of thrown together and didn't look very appealing on the plate, nor did it have much... More

This is a typical Chain Pub/Restaurant with old world charm, wooden floors, beams and pillars etc. There are daily special on various brews and the food is delicious, hot and very tasty, especially their home made Steak & Mushroom Pie. My wife and I visited here several times during our week in Toronto staying just around the corner so not... More

This place has a really good vibe...friendly and welcoming. Beers were very good and the food was much better than you expect in a pub. Good staff and good atmosphere...well worth a visit.

The service was poor. We had to get up to get our utensils. The menus looked like they have been dragged and stepped on by hundreds of people. Therefore, cleanliness is questionable. The chicken tikka masala was tasteless and the wine was the worst wine I have ever tasted. This restaurant is the first thing you see after passing the... More

We'd had a long day walking around Toronto and were looking for a place with some good reviews near our hotel. Fionn McCool came up and we gave it a try. Kinda sorry we didn't have the energy to go a little further to try someplace else. The restaurant is very close to the Rogers Center where the Blue Jays... More

While they don't take reservations on game days, they still do a great job seating as soon as they can. Excellent service and pub food!

We needed a place for lunch before the Blue Jays game at 12:30. The place was great, the food was very good and the service exceptional. We will go there again when we goto a Jay game.

Thank Dave B

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
